NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards were recently released for online ordering and in-store pickup. Some of the stores that participated still have cards in stock. Best Buy will extend that initial sale soon with two methods of purchasing to make the remaining stock available to more Canadians. Customers can still order online and pickup in select stores near their home; customers will also be able to order online for home delivery. Since their launch, the GeForce RTX 30 Series has been the most sought-after PC component we have seen. These have received high praise for many reasons including the impressive performance improvements they bring to demanding applications like fast paced, incredibly complex PC games, delivering higher resolutions at higher frame rates than ever before.
This article will detail the process to purchase one for your household. Below you will learn how to order one of these cards online and how to then pick it up in-store or have it delivered to your home. Selection and quantities will be limited to those cards that did not sell out already during this sale (which officially began on Thursday February 24th).
Limit of one card per household continues
By opening up the sale of the remaining RTX graphics card stock to more Canadians, Best Buy hopes to give more Canadians an opportunity to own one of these highly sought-after computer components. Importantly, we will continue to limit purchases to one card per household. This limit will be a continuance of the limit that began on February 24th. As such, if you have ordered a new graphics card and picked it up in a store during this event, then you have already reached your limit for this current release event.
How will the online order system works
You will only be able to obtain one of the graphics cards offered during this event by ordering online. As you proceed through the online order process, you’ll be presented with the choice to have the product delivered to your home or to use the Quick and Easy Store Pickup procedure when the card is located at a store near your home.
As stated above, this is a continuation of the sale that began on February 24th. A selection of the RTX 30 Graphics Cards that became available to purchase online and pickup in a store during that event did not sell out. Best Buy is now making those cards available to more Canadians who did not get a chance to order one yet.
What happens when you arrive at a Best Buy Store
Customers who selected in store pick up, will arrive at a Best Buy store as instructed in the confirmation email they received (visit this link for hours of operation of a store near you). Please do not drive to a store expecting a graphics card until you have received the Best Buy email/text confirming the order has been successfully processed and the product is ready for pick up.
At the store, line up at the order pick-up desk to claim the graphics card that you ordered. For your safety, make sure there’s two metres between you and the person in front of you. Be prepared to present your order pick up confirmation email/text, and photo identification. Employees at participating stores will confirm your identification and order details keeping in mind that there is a limit of one graphics card per household. You can visit this help page to learn more about the Quick and Easy Store Pick up procedure.
RTX 30 series graphics cards are limited to one per household for the whole duration of this release event that began on February 24th. If you have already ordered and received a graphics card during this event then you are not eligible to purchase an additional one during this continuation of the sale. As stated above, selection and quantities are very limited and we provide no assurances about any particular make or model being available during the sale.
